The flying key!

After his successful performances in Bergamo for Società del Quartetto (mar 14th) and in Milan at the Bocconi University (mar 17th), Alberto Chines performed again at Teatro Miela in Trieste for the 9th International Piano Festival. The recital included a huge variety of compositions, from early baroque to contemporary. But the real surprise was a broken key flying all over the keyboard during the Infernal Dance of Stravinsky’s Firebird! Here’s a short interview, followed by the footage of…the flying key.
